Bob Underwood on Civil Rights

Libertarian Challenger

No quotas for women and minorities

Q: Do you support the statement, "Require companies to hire more women and minorities"?

A: I do not support quotas for race, sex, etc. But I support full employment for all Americans. As can be seen on www.electbobunderwood.org a very large part of my platform is dedicated to the issue of high unemployment and reducing that so that all Americans can get a decent job.

Sexual orientation protected by civil rights law

Q: Do you support the statement, "Sexual orientation should be protected by civil rights law"?

A: People should not be discriminated against because of sexual orientation. If necessary the United States should ensure that government at all levels protect people's civil rights.
