Restrict lawsuits against gun manufacturers
Russ Feingold sided with the trial lawyer lobby time after time during the four day Senate debate on legislation to prevent civil lawsuits against gun manufacturers for the actions of criminals.
Feingold's votes drew the criticism of US Senate candidate Russ Darrow who called it "just another example of Russ Feingold putting liberal interest groups like the trial lawyers before the people of Wisconsin."
"Once again, Russ Feingold's priorities are different from those of people in Wisconsin. Once again, Feingold has demonstrated that he is a very reliable vote in the Senate for the trial lawyers," said Darrow,
who supports the ban on lawsuits against gun manufacturers for the actions of violent criminals. "Feingold is no friend to Wisconsin's business community, our hunters and sportsmen and our taxpayers."
