Ban Partial Birth Abortions

The following is a statement from Russ Darrow regarding the recent court decision by Federal Judge Phyllis Hamilton that ruled a ban on partial birth abortions unconstitutional. "This ruling that allows the outright murder of the unborn just weeks away from birth is deeply disturbing & disappointing. This procedure, unsupported by the majority of Americans, was outlawed by Congress and the President. With a stroke of a pen, a liberal, federal judge from San Francisco has imposed her will, and not that of the American people, by legislating from the bench."

"I would ask Senator Feingold to stand up for the beliefs of most Americans and the rights of the unborn, but I'd be wasting my breath, considering he voted against the ban of partial birth abortions in the first place. I can only hope and pray that once this case and others like it make their way though the courts, the rights of the unborn will be protected and the will of the majority of the American public will finally be respected."
