Tax increases on the wealthiest Americans

As State Auditor, Hector has worked to crack down on waste, fraud and abuse in state and local government, and went after corporations that defrauded taxpayers. He'll bring that same approach to Washington as United States Senator. As Senator, Hector will:

Work to crack down on waste, fraud and abuse in government;
Push for a balanced approach to deficit reduction--one that includes smart spending cuts, as well as tax increases on the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations;
Fight to eliminate the Bush tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires.
