State policies on marijuana have rapidly evolved to reflect both public opinion and scientific data, but the federal government has failed to keep pace. I support Congress removing marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act and allowing states to enact marijuana laws without federal interference

Need a strategy to transition to legalized retail markets

"Currently, there are a lot of gray areas in terms of how we procure recreational marijuana within Virginia," she said. "We need a clear strategy and plan to transition Virginia into a state that has legalized retail markets that can focus on these concerns."

Worked as federal cop on narcotics and money laundering

She began her career of public service as a federal law enforcement officer working narcotics and money laundering cases with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. She then joined the CIA as a case officer. She traveled and lived abroad collecting intelligence, managing assets, and overseeing high-profile programs in service to the United States.
