Trump's tariffs are getting other countries to negotiate

Gov. Henry McMaster said prior to the president's 90-day pause on tariffs that he supported his plan. "I think the count of various countries that have called in and want to have a meeting to negotiate has now reached, I think, 70 different countries," McMaster said. "I don't think that would have happened. It has never happened before. I don't think it would have happened if he hadn't done this."
