Alexander Snitker on Homeland Security

Repeal Patriot Act; it violates Bill of Rights

Q: How would you address both foreign and domestic terrorist threats on the US?

A: The Patriot Act violates the Bill of Rights and should be repealed. The cost of undeclared wars has been too high in US blood and treasure. I support Letters of Marque and Reprisal against Osama bin Laden and other terrorists, which is a Constitutional solution and complies with international law.

Non-interventionism in military and in foreign aid

We do not want other countries involved in the decisions of this country and I think we should do the same for them. This does not mean that I want to have a weak military. We need to retool the military and equip them with the best and most advanced technology that we can offer. We need to have our Navy to continue to travel around the world.

There needs to be a moratorium on most of the foreign aid the government allows. There are many private organization that provide aid throughout the world.
