Global warming is a tool to suppress energy production

The Obama Administration and its more "progressive" environmental advocates never tire of slowing down or outright blocking the exploration and development of any carbon-based energy production. They point to alleged catastrophic consequences flowing from man-made global warming resulting from carbon based energy production. This global warming thesis is held by many of the influential environmental advocates with the fervor of religious belief. Disagreement with global warming merits censure reserved for heretics.

[Believers] demonstrate that global warming is largely man-made and will produce civilization altering consequences if not addressed by business crippling taxes, penalties for carbon based energy production, and absolute prohibitions of some carbon energy production such as the recent EPA ban on certain coal plant construction and operation. Market intervention by federal agencies is a primary tool of the population control lobby to suppress energy production.
