Rex Rammell on Energy & Oil

Independent Challenger

Lies about global warming will destroy our economy

Risch said we're running out of oil and we need to develop alternative energy sources, but meanwhile we need to use compressed natural gas, nuclear energy, wind power, and "drilling our way through this."

LaRocco responded, "We could create 14,000 new jobs in Idaho just by embracing new types of energy."

Rammell added, "I'm so sick & tired of global warming. If we continue to support this lie that global warming is going to destroy this world, we're going to destroy our economy."

Support all forms of energy production, especially nuclear

America can not rely on other nations for our energy. We must do everything we can to provide for our own energy needs. I support all forms of energy production as long as they are clean and safe. In particular, I believe we have overlooked the safety and efficacy of nuclear power and support the building of more nuclear power plants. Furthermore, America will be energy independent, prices will be lower, quality and service will be greater, when it is turned over completely to private industry.
