Supports Second Amendment, but every right has its limits

As a member of Congress, "part of my job (would be) to protect the rights of constituents, and the second amendment is no doubt a right I would want to protect," Delgado said. "But just like the first amendment, every right has its limits." A poll conducted by NPR/Ipsos in the aftermath of the Florida shooting "found widespread bipartisan support for a range of gun-control policies," NPR reported. Those policies included "requiring background checks for all gun buyers" and banning bump stocks

The Christian Coalition Voter Guide inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'Further Restrictions on the Right to Keep and Bear Arms' Christian Coalition's self-description: "Christian Voter Guide is a clearing-house for traditional, pro-family voter guides. We do not create voter guides, nor do we interview or endorse candidates."

Historically, candidates have failed to complete our test due to the advice they receive from their advisors and out of fear of negative attack ads."
