Jodey Arrington on Principles & Values

Leftist ideology has permeated federal government

Rep. Jodey Arrington, said Biden showed America his true, liberal beliefs when he appointed Kamala Harris as Vice President. "She was the one as Senator who was saying ICE enforcement agents are akin to the KKK. That leftist ideology has permeated through your federal government and mine. That fourth branch of government is very activated. It's real. It starts at the top."

Stop targeting citizens for their religious beliefs

Uphold the Constitution and Protect Against Federal Over-reach and Abuses of Power: Under the Obama Administration, federal agencies have abused their powers to target citizens for political and religious beliefs, enacted regulations to strangle industries they don't like, and shackled our citizens to inept and failing government programs that we don't want and can't afford.

Cutting and limiting the federal government is not only about taking back OUR tax dollars and reducing an out-of-control federal debt, it's also about taking back our freedoms and the powers granted to our states. Breaking Washington's stranglehold means returning our nation back to "We the People" and unleashing the great American innovative, entrepreneurial, and independent spirit.

The inerrant Bible is the source of all truth

Q: Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Arrington: I believe in the Gospel of Jesus according to the Bible, which I believe to be God-inspired and inerrant. My values, principles for life, and world view are derived from the Bible, the source of all truth. I believe man's greatest need is to be reconciled to God through the forgiveness of sins, and that only through belief in God's son, Jesus, is this made possible. I believe that all men have sinned and are in need of God's grace and mercy. I believe God's grace and mercy is sufficient to forgive all sins for all time, no matter who you are or what you've done.

Q: Which political philosophy best describes you?

Arrington: Very Conservative

Q: What in the nature of mankind caused America's Founders to carefully limit powers in the Constitution?

Arrington: Pride is the root of all sin. One element of pride is the desire for power for personal interests. Power, unchecked, can easily corrupt.

Overturn presidential election due to pandemic voting rules.

Justice Arrington wrote the Court's decision on Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton: "TX v. PA, GA, MI & WI" on Dec 11, 2020:

Summary of lawsuit, Dec. 7:: The 2020 election suffered from significant and unconstitutional irregularities including:

Supreme Court Order, Dec. 11: The State of Texas's motion is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.

Texas Tribune analysis, Dec. 11:: Trump--and Republicans across the country--had pinned their hopes on the Texas suit. In a series of tweets, Trump called it "the big one" and later added, "it is very strong, ALL CRITERIA MET." If the court had heard the case, Sen. Ted Cruz said he would have argued it, at the request of Trump.

Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas indicated they would have allowed Texas to bring the case but said they would "not grant other relief." In a series of tweets after the ruling, Trump raged against the decision, which he called "a disgraceful miscarriage of justice."

Endorsements by Donald Trump, implying support of Trump's agenda and electoral style. The phrase "Make America Great Again" was popularized in Trump's 2015 book Time to Get Tough:Making America Great Again. It is the campaign slogan embroidered on the ubiquitous red caps seen at Trump rallies (which after Trump's presidency, became known as "MAGA rallies").

Oppose certification of the 2020 Presidential election.

Arrington voted YEA blocking certification of the Electoral vote

Explanation of 1/6/21 Electoral Certification, by Emily Brooks, Washington Examiner:Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Paul Gosar led an objection to counting Electoral College votes from the state of Arizona, the first formal objection to state results in a series of moves that will delay the certification of Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election over President Trump. Cruz is advocating for an `emergency 10-day audit` of election returns in disputed states. The usually ceremonial joint session of Congress that convenes to count and accept Electoral College votes will be put on hold as the House and Senate separately debate the objection.
