Moral leaders can & must win War on Drugs

It’s no surprise that the use of marijuana among young people is up almost 150 percent since 1992 while drug-related emergency-room cases stand at their highest levels ever. Victory in the war on drugs requires moral leadership and serious resources. It’s a war we can and must win.

Feds have surrendered in the War on Drugs

“County officials & State legislatures are fighting hard in the war on drugs. Families, churches, and schools are doing their part. Stopping the flow [of drugs] is a federal responsibility that’s not being met. [The federal government] has willingly surrendered in the war on drugs,” Quayle remarked. Quayle attributed dramatic increases in casual drug use to the cutbacks in anti-drug budgets, lax border controls, declining federal prosecutions, and inability to offer credible moral leadership.
