We've got to get the dark money out of politics

Hinson: The decisions that I'm making in D.C. have nothing to do with the inside information I might be getting as a public servant. It's why I have voted to ban stock trading for members of Congress.

Turek: The reality is, is that in just six years of being up in D.C., Ashley Hinson is up to 15 times more wealthy, still owns up to $5 million of private stock, even though she said she was going to sell everything. We need to have campaign finance reform because we've got to get the dark money out of politics. I want to sponsor a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, because we can have oligarchy or we can have democracy, but we cannot have both. And secondly, I want to go up there and fight for term limits to ban members of Congress from owning and trading stocks. I don't own any stocks, so no one has to worry about that with me.

Set term limits for Congress and the Supreme Court

• Ban Members of Congress and their spouses from trading stock.
• Pass a constitutional amendment to reverse Citizens United.
• Set term limits for Members of Congress and Supreme Court Justices.
• Enforce ethics standards on Supreme Court Justices.
• Suspend pay and ban travel by Members of Congress during a government shutdown.
• Require Members of Congress to hold annual town halls with constituents.
