Simplify the tax code

The tax code needs to be greatly simplified. Having experience on our state tax committee, reforming and restructuring the federal tax code would be a natural fit for me. Simplifying the tax code and ensuring the best return on the taxpayers' investment needs to be one of Congress's top priorities. The benefits will be multiplied because the states will follow suit.
