Impeach Obama for war in Libya without Congress
Linker called on the US House of Representatives to issue articles of impeachment for President Barack Obama. He issued the following statement: "President Obama should be impeached for his willful violation of the War Powers Act keeping
American military forces involved in the ongoing war in Libya. He has failed the American people and has failed to carry out his legal duties as Commander-in-Chief because he has deliberately avoided requesting, and has not received,
Congressional authorization for American military involvement in the Libyan war as required under the War Powers Act. The Constitution and the War Powers Act are the law of the land. As Commander-in-Chief the President has a sworn legal duty to not only
uphold, but also to abide by, the law.
"The President is ignoring the will of the Congress and the will of the American people as he has on the economy throughout his presidency. But now he is willfully defying the law as well. "

Don't withdraw from Afghanistan until we achieve our goals
Linker criticized President Obama's plan to withdraw from Afghanistan 10,000 troops by the end of the year and another 23,000 by the summer of 2012 just in time for the presidential election against the advice of his military commanders. "This is a
political decision plain and simple. Withdrawing in such a manner may be popular and it may even save money and lives in the short run, but leaving Afghanistan in such a precarious situation in the east along the border with
Pakistan and south could cost us far more if President Karzai's government falls and the insurgent Taliban fill the void, again allowing al Qaida to use the country as a base to plot terrorist attacks against us," Linker explained.
Linker said he is "all for ending our mission in Afghanistan but only after we have achieved our goals: The Afghan security forces must be sufficiently prepared to protect the country and the government must be stable enough to survive on its own."
