AdWatch: If babies had guns, they wouldn't be aborted
Stockman's famously incendiary tweets are enjoying increased scrutiny. Here's a sampling:- April 11: A tweet announced a new bumper sticker Stockman was offering donors: "If babies had guns, they wouldn't be aborted." And a day later: "Get the
bumper sticker that liberals hate! One sticker for every $10."
- April 12: His opinions on ObamaCare and reproductive health: "Will abortion be the only medical procedure not wait-listed and rationed under ObamaCare?" Actually, it's worth noting that
ObamaCare does not expand abortion access, and in some places has actually indirectly reduced it.
- July 8: The time he was dismissive of women who want control of their reproductive decisions: "Pro-abortionists scream 'uterus' because they're desperate
to eliminate the innocent living human being from the discussion."
- July 8: His claim about liberals: "Conservatives see kids in poverty and want to find the family jobs. Liberals see kids in poverty and say they should have been aborted."

- each human life begins with fertilization, cloning, or its functional equivalent, at which time every human has all legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of personhood; and
- Congress, each state, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territories have the authority to protect all human lives.

No family planning assistance that includes abortion.
Stockman co-sponsored Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act
Prohibits providing any federal family planning assistance to an entity unless the entity certifies that, during the period of such assistance, the entity will not perform, and will not provide any funds to any other entity that performs, an abortion. Excludes an abortion where:
- the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or an act of incest; or
- a physician certifies that the woman suffered from a physical disorder, injury, or illness that would place the woman in danger of death unless an abortion is performed, including a condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy.
Excludes hospitals from such requirement so long as the hospital does not provide funds to any non-hospital entity that performs an abortion.
