Ensure that our soldiers and veterans receive benefits

Throughout his career, Eric has been a strong advocate for programs that benefit our nation's veterans. As a former Congressman and current State Senator, Eric has fought to improve the lives of veterans and their families. As a U.S. Senator, Eric will fight to ensure that our soldiers and veterans receive the benefits and medical care they have earned.

Aggressively fight terrorism around the world

The best homeland security policy is to aggressively fight terrorism around the world. We need to redefine the war on terrorism and work to form a broad-based, multi-lateral coalition unified around the cause of stamping out the terrorist ideology, militarily where necessary, but primarily through promoting political and economic freedoms. Here at home, we must give our firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders the resources they need to protect our homeland.
