Bush and Obama White Houses both ruled by secrecy

• There is no difference between the Bush and Obama White Houses--both have ruled by secrecy, against the public interest--we need Open Government, the two-party bi-opoly is not capable of providing it--third, fourth, and fifth parties are needed in government to provide fairness and balance
• We must end the practice of electing one person as president who then pays off their contributors with Cabinet positions; we must end the winner take all approach to governance. Electoral College votes should be apportioned to the national party candidates, not lumped to a single winner in each state; Coalition Cabinets should be announced by candidates for the Presidency in advance of Election Day, and principals should debate each other (e.g. State, Defense, and Attorney General).

Citizens United is a national disgrace

• All three branches of government--Congress, Executive, Judiciary--are corrupt and have been captured by the plutocracy. The Supreme Court with Citizens United is a national disgrace.

  Stricter limits on political campaign funds

  Q: Do you support or oppose the statement, "Stricter limits on political campaign funds"?

  A: Strongly Support. In fact, We the People Reform Coalition is the ONLY proponent for comprehensive electoral reform, with an Election Integrity Pledge, a Statement of Demand to be read nationally in January 2012, and a two-page outline of an Electoral Reform Act of 2012 that will not only eradicate corporate contributions in all respects, but open ballot access, eradicate digital vote manipulation, and do the many other things that Ralph Nader, Christina Tobin, Jim Turner, Theresa Amato, and our many crowd-sourced contributors have been championing. We need to do it all--allowing ballot access restrictions to remain makes campaign finance reform meaningless. All national parties (this includes Green, Libertarian, and Reform) should be on all state ballots when they have a candidate for national office. This is part of our push for legislation in February-March 2012.
