Keep estate tax and dividends tax

New ideas to stimulate the economy

In order to fund other, less important tax initiatives, the Congress has repeatedly voted to let the Federal R&D tax credit expire. This practice discourages long-term research commitments. It is time to make the credit permanent. Fingerhut will propose a plan that offers a zero capital gains rate for all investments made in start-up businesses.
