Federal tax code penalizes hard work and marriage

Dr. Scott is committed to lower taxes. He is committed to fighting for more tax cuts, not less. Families, not government, know best how to spend their hard-earned money. Every parent, employee and senior [should] keep more of his or her hard-earned money to spend it how he or she sees fit. The federal tax code is dysfunctional. It penalizes hard work, marriage, thrift, & success-the very factors that are the foundations for lasting prosperity. Marvin Scott wants to make taxes simpler, fairer, and lower.

Consumers should keep what they earn, not pay high taxes

The money you earn belongs to you, not the federal government. Scott believes that tax relief creates jobs and puts more money in consumers? pockets.
