Republican Senate challenger

Lower taxes and burdens that limit economic growth

As a member of the Iowa House, George Eichhorn earned a 100% rating from the Iowa chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business in 2006, Iowa's leading small business group. George averaged an over 85% rating with the Iowa Association of Business and Industry over six years. George Eichhorn has consistently fought to lower taxes and burdens that limit economic growth.

Abolish the death tax and the marriage penalty

George Eichhorn favors abolishing the Death Tax which is counterproductive. The concept of wealth transfer by taxation is contrary to American principals of government and the freedoms of our society.

Taxes should never be a weapon used against Americans. George Eichhorn will work to ensure that the Marriage Tax Penalty, is abolished forever.

George Eichhorn has a record of being fair to the taxpayer. He knows that the money we earn is ours, not the government's.
