Opposes radically changing with private accounts

I oppose plans to radically change Social Security with private accounts. Here's why. Whenever I try to solve a problem, I say, "What is the goal?" On Social Security, the goal is solvency. The President's current plan doesn't address solvency. We need to focus on the goal. The system won't become insolvent until 2042. Let's take the time needed to get the best ideas and most consensus to make sure we have the best plan to keep Social Security solvent for future generations.
