Brian Kemp on Welfare & Poverty

Giving to churches & charity s a great Georgia tradition

My faith has taught me many important life lessons. One of the most important has been that true success is measured less by what one makes than by what one gives to others.

Each and every day I thank the Lord for all he has given me. I have been truly blessed with a wonderful family and success in business. Like so many Georgians, I try to find a way to give a little bit back each year.

Marty and I greatly enjoy supporting a wide range of charities in our community, especially our church. We hope others will join us in being generous with their time and money. Giving to charity is a great tradition in our state and our country. In Georgia, the Secretary of State is charged with regulating charities and insuring their proper administration of donations. In my eyes, this responsibility is an almost sacred duty.

If you trust me with your vote, I will make sure every charity in Georgia lives up to the highest ethical standards.
