Nancy Mace on Welfare & Poverty

Inflation causes financial pain, but oppose deficit spending

Both [Mace and Annie Andrews] acknowledged the financial pain that inflation is having on Lowcountry families but differed on solutions. Mace said her penny plan to balance the federal budget in 5 years would be a start, arguing that deficit spending in particular, along with higher taxes, contributes to inflation.

Andrews suggested that putting a federal cap on the cost of prescription drugs would help, along with supporting legislation to make America less reliant on the global supply chain.
