Massachusetts needs to invest in stem cell research
The Bush Administration has not fully embraced stem cell research. With all of our exceptional research centers, there is no excuse for Massachusetts not to be the leader in this field. Massachusetts must implement policies that will cement our status as
the center of biotechnology research in the US. Chris is committed to making Massachusetts a leader in stem cell research and other life sciences, and continuing our tradition of leadership on medical research and cutting edge technology.

Stem cell research will save lives and will create jobs
UCC: Stem cell research is important to you?Gabrieli: Yes. Stem cell research holds out our best hope for cures for diseases like diabetes, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord paralysis, Lou Gehrig's disease and a number of things. It's also the cutting
edge of the most important growth industry of our future. For the sake of the patients as well as remaining a leader in an industry that holds such promise for our future we absolutely should invest it. It will help save lives and will create jobs.
