Provide resources and tools for workforce training
I will devote resources to give Massachusetts the best education system in the nation, on the K-12 level, as well as adult education and workforce training. The 1.1 million workers who lack the job skills they need to compete in today's economy, and
the 800,000 Massachusetts adults who read below the fifth grade level, must be able to obtain these skills. The state's workers are the most important economic resource that we have. We must provide them with the tools they need.
