Globalization is inevitable, and good for Vermont

A: Globalization is inevitable. I believe that Vermont reaps enormous benefits from international trade, especially our trade with Canada. Furthermore, I believe that world trade fosters world peace and drives democracy. Rather than economic sanctions, the US should vigorously promote trade with our adversaries so as to create economic interdependence. As an example, I doubt we would ever have another war with Japan.
