Madame Hillary:The Dark Road to the White House, by R. Emmett Tyrell, published Feb. 2004

BOOK REVIEW by OnTheIssues.org:
More than probably any other political team in U.S. history, the Clintons have been subjected to an onslaught of caricaturing and character assassinations. Anyone who has avidly listened to talk radio in the past 15 years could tell you that at times it certainly does seem that there is a “vast right wing conspiracy” hell bent on doing a sinister paint job on The Democrat dynasty. Nonetheless, even liberals like myself have to admit the charm and sheer entertainment of witnessing a good roasting of the Clintons. With that in mind, R. Emmett Tyrell's book Madame Hillary: The Dark Road to the Whitehouse should have been a smash success but for one unfortunate and glaring oversight. Political mudslinging against liberals from a passively moderate perspective is about as exciting as watching paint dry on a horse's backside. Tyrell should have learned that the public's hunger for excavating the Clintons' dark, furtive motives can only be sated by a staunchly conservative pundit such as Ann Coulter, Mr. Limbaugh, and others who have picked a definite side in opposition to the Clintons' Democrat ideals. Tight lipped and tentative, Tyrell's prose, though insightful, has the ultimate effect of airing the Clintons' dirty laundry in a garbage disposal; the point of reference negates the stench.
