Defend right of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves

Tom is a long-standing supporter of the Second Amendment and will defend the constitutional right of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families, to hunt, to collect, and to shoot competitively or recreationally. Tom believes in stiffening penalties for those who commit violent crimes with guns, and will work with both law enforcement & mental health advocates to find better ways to keep guns out of the hands of those who are mentally unstable & a danger to themselves or others.
