Fight to Defend and Improve Historic Health Care Reform-The Law Senator Scott Brown Opposed: The health care reform law enacted by Congress and signed by President Obama made historic strides to end injustices like discrimination based on preexisting conditions, placing lifetime limits on care, and retroactively canceling coverage when people get sick. The Republican leadership in Washington opposes ending these abuses. Efforts to repeal these historic reforms are reckless and cruel.
