Privatize because government will raid the Trust Fund

A: At one time I was against doing this as most of us have enough on our plates to have to worry about saving for retirement and making the correct choices in investing money for retirement. If we had honest people in government, that money could be wisely invested so it could grow but our government insists on raiding the social security funds for other things so if we can't trust our government to use the money they take from us for our retirement, then we would be better off without government-run social security and do the best we can ourselves. There are some who would not save for retirement, so perhaps we should have a private organization do that for us that are carefully watched for thievery.
