Bailouts and stimulus slowed Great Recession recovery

A: I absolutely disagree with this. When the market crashed in 2008, economists all over were saying that bailouts & stimulus spending wouldn't make any difference. I think they were only halfway right. It made a difference, but it was a bad difference, not a good difference. We again wasted taxpayer money. The people in this country who work for a living don't mind helping the poor who are poor through no fault of their own and those who are genuinely disabled and unable to do any kind of work. But we don't like our government paying our hard earned tax money to executives who intentionally mismanage their business and expect the taxpayers to bail them out. If people aren't going to be responsible, then I think they deserve to go bankrupt and lose their business. No exceptions and no excuses. People need to be held accountable for their own actions.

Get rid of the Federal Reserve and the IRS

• Get rid of the Federal Reserve. These people are destroying our economy and total collapse is not far off. We need to take this out of the hands of a private corporation who has no incentive to do right by the American people. I will work to end the Federal Reserve.
• End the IRS. Taxation without representation was why we had the war with the British King. We have elected representatives but they don't represent us. They should not be rewarded for not doing their jobs. Cut off the flow of funds and they will stop running for office. There are other ways of fairly taxing that are less intrusive. I will work to repeal or reduce the federal income tax.
