Stricter limits on political campaign funds

Q: Do you support or oppose the statement, "Stricter limits on political campaign funds"?

A: I think this is a very important thing to do. The way things are now is that no one can get elected unless they are:

independently wealthy;
receiving illegal contributions;
have a criminal past;
or all 3, none of which is good for our country.

An honest intelligent person of modest means has no chance of getting elected unless no one else wants the job. That intelligent person of modest means might be the best person for the job but the public will never find out about them. Our media are complacent in aiding the criminals to get into office. They don't give unbiased reporting as they are charged with doing. I think the media should follow the fair rules of their profession as well.
