Create cabinet posts on tourism & economic development

I am asking you to elevate cabinet level agencies to secretaries of cabinets in two areas. You see, I am hung up like crazy on tourism and economic development. Appoint a Waste Czar to root out agency excess

Now, and I believe--and I will do this immediately, I will employ some person--gosh, I can't imagine being called this, a Waste Czar. But I'll have him absolutely dig into every agency known to man and try to find any excess monies that have been shoved away and hidden. And I'll have him look. And I'll have him try to find.

Ban fundraising while the legislature is in session

Justice has called for a series of ethics reforms, including banning fundraising while the legislature is in session so lobbyists and associations that represent various industries can't be extorted for campaign cash. Justice added, "No politician should be fundraising instead of doing the job they were elected to do." No contributions to legislators during legislative sessions

Banning all fundraising activity during the regular legislative session for all state government officials. No elected official at the state level will be able to accept contributions during the legislative session or solicit political donations of any kind. Many states, including Maryland and Virginia, impose fundraising restrictions during legislative sessions.
Capping lobbyist meals for lawmakers at $75 per meal, and limiting the number will stop "dark money" organizations from playing shell games to conceal exactly where the money is coming from to pay for political advertising. West Virginians deserve to know who is spending money on our elections.
