From absentee voting officials, to keeping polling places open, offering language assistance, and making sure the Voting Rights Act actually protects voters, instead of hindering fair and easy elections, Treadwell described how elections are being made better, safer, and easier for Alaskans.
"Last time I was in Bethel, one of your teachers spoke up," Treadwell told the group. "Principal Janelle Vanasse said they'd really like the State to run advisory board elections.
