King of the Birthers: Obama is hiding something
Andy Martin, a political gadfly who ran for President Obama's former Senate seat in 2010, announced that he will run for the Republican nomination for president on a "birther" platform. The so-called "birther" movement already had a serious impact in
the political landscape in the 2010 elections, Martin said, because "when you doubt the legitimacy of the leader, it undermines the Democratic Party."
Martin, who calls himself the "king of the birthers," said he actually believes Obama was born in
Hawaii, as has been verified by the state with a Certificate of Live Birth. But he believes the White House is blocking the release of the president's full birth certificate because it could contain embarrassing information.
"My campaign
doesn't say he was born here or he was born there, it says produce the facts," he said. "Tell the truth to the American people. If you want our confidence, if you want our sons and daughters--to die for your policies, we have to trust you."

2003: If Bush had an "enemies list" I'd be first one on it
Five years ago I was living in Baghdad and working as a bureau chief gathering news and providing analysis and interpretation of the increasingly untenable situation in that country.
I didn't know if President George Bush had an "enemies list." But if he did, my name was the 1st one in line.
My controversial reporting and analysis from Baghdad incurred increasing ire. When I read in the Washington Post that President Bush and Baghdad impresario Paul Bremer had shared weightlifting,
movies and popcorn at the White House, and that the president had expressed a desire to discipline that profligate "internet journalist" in Baghdad I knew my name was on some list.

Obama is a Muslim who concealed his religion
"Fiction: Obama was given an 'African' name. Fact: Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion. I am a strong supporter of the Muslim community, and I believe Muslims have been scapegoated. Obama has a great opportunity to be forthright.
Instead, he has treated his Muslim heritage as a dark secret. His grandfather was named 'Hussein.' That is an Arabic-Muslim, not African, name. Hussein was a devout Muslim and named his son, Barack Senior, 'Baraka.'
Baraka is an Arabic word meaning 'blessed.' Baraka come out of the Koran and Arabic, not Africa.""Obama has spent a lifetime running from his family heritage and religious heritage. Would his father have given his son a
Koranic name if the father was not a devout Muslim? Obama's stepfather was also a Muslim. Obama will be the 1st Muslim-heritage senator; he should be proud of that fact."

I have many skeletons in my closet
I am sometimes asked, "Have any skeletons in your closet?" My answer, "I have so many skeletons in my closet I can't close the door. Which ones do you want to hear about?"I have been lambasted by crooked judges and generally
beaten up by the power structure that I have spent a lifetime exposing as corrupt.
The public knows I'm honest, and the public knows I fight the bad guys. I have the scare to prove it.

Martin supports the AFA survey question on religious liberty
The AFA inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law'?

The AFA inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government'?
