The North Florida way: compromise when you don't agree

GRAHAM: We need to find compromise and we need to find a way to break through the dysfunction. As I traveled around my district, all 14 counties, that's what I heard over and over and over again, is that people want a government that functions. They want a government in where people get along. And that's what I ran on a platform of saying, "The North Florida way." And the North Florida way is finding a way to get along, find common-sense solutions. We may not always agree, but we've got to be able to find compromise in order to make the decisions that need to be made to move our country forward.

Q: You won voters that voted for Rick Scott for governor, the Republican, and Gwen Graham for Congress. Why do you thank you were able to pull that off?

GRAHAM: From day one of this race, I have just been reaching out to all 14 counties of the district. I wanted to make sure that everybody knew that I cared about earning their support.

Endorsed Targeted House race in national Red to Blue program.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has added nine candidates to its "Red to Blue" list, a designation singling out strong campaigns in open or Republican-held districts. The list now includes two categories: targeted districts and "emerging" districts which may be targeted later.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is funding two programs [mostly via PAC-funded TV advertising] in the 2014 cycle: "Red-to-Blue" in Republican-held districts, and "Frontline" to defend Democratic-held districts.
