Too many candidates get elected for being not the other guy
Too many candidates have been elected because they had a broad message of change or because they were simply not the other guy. I would rather have the support of people who agree with my views. Where I cannot get support, I would prefer discussing
compromise solutions rather than stating opinions that solve nothing.
As I am not a politician and currently have an occupation, there is no need for me to be vague or try to swing votes my way. My livelihood does not sit in the balance.
