Will never shy away from standing up to federal government

It is ironic that while the Biden Administration will not secure the border, they will press oppressive regulation on the West. Wyoming fights back to preserve our rights and our way of life using every legal and political resource available to us. I will never shy away from our responsibility to stand up to the federal government. Currently we have 39 pending cases before courts across a spectrum of matters protecting Wyoming's interests. We enacted strong voter ID law, election integrity critical

There are two constitutional duties that need to be addressed in the coming days: preparing a balanced budget for the upcoming biennium and making sure that legislative districts are properly reapportioned after the last census. Last year you passed and I signed into law a strong voter ID law. Election integrity is critical. Wyoming is proud of its citizen legislators -- and the way we select them. One-time bonus to retain state employees

Let me sum up this problem: We continually need to train new employees, who then become better candidates for positions in other states with better pay scales. This is unacceptably expensive, and it is costly. We should be thinking about keeping the people who know what to do and how to do it. I have proposed a one-time bonus aimed at recognizing and retaining talent. If we truly want to reduce government, we can only do it with motivated people who know how to do their jobs.
