Tommy Tuberville on War & Peace

Stand up for Christians & Jews persecuted worldwide

Q: What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

A: We should talk openly and honestly about the violent elements in Islam itself. Until we have an open and honest discussion about what is being preached in some Mosques, we won't be able to confront Islamic terrorism. Hindus, Christians, and Jews are not carrying out violent acts in the name of their god and religion. We eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism by calling it what it is and punishing those who commit acts of terrorism to the fullest extent possible. Christians and Jews are persecuted all over the world, and WE MUST stand up for them and stop their persecution.

Provide vets with high quality care, job training

I am passionate about changing the way our nation treats its Veterans. President Trump is off to a good start - Veteran unemployment is at its lowest point in history: 2.3%. But we can and must do more to help our Veterans re-enter the workforce and society. We must provide them with high-quality care and job training and ensure that those who need it get the psychological care and attention they need to deal with the issues they face being back home.

Support a strong and robust military

The first role of our government is to protect its citizens and that is why I will support a strong and robust military. I know we must provide our Armed Forces with the tools and resources they need to protect Americans at home and abroad. Alabamians are proud and we stand with our military and our Veterans who have given so much for our nation.

Pro-Israel, according to CC survey.

Tuberville supports the Christian Coalition survey question on support of Israel

The Christian Coalition inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'The US Should Continue to Support and Stand with the Nation of Israel Against Her Enemies?' Self-description by Christian Coalition of America: "These guides help give voters a clear understanding of where candidates stand on important pro-family issues" for all Senate and Presidential candidates.
