Sharon Hansen on Health Care | |
Hansen: Strongly Disagree.
Question topic: The Affordable Care Act should be repealed by Congress.
Hansen: Strongly Agree. ObamaCare needs to be completely repealed in its entirety. It is a massive wasteful bureaucracy that has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government control. Private charity can take over for those needing care they cannot afford.
A: I think ObamaCare is a miserable failure and I believe it was intended to be a failure. Our population is too large for socialized medicine. I think it would have been a lot less expensive to create something for those who needed it but the ones who didn't need it shouldn't be involved in it against their choice. We should have freedom of choice. There is a tremendous amount of fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. Those with private insurance should not be forced to change their lives and upset the entire health care system.
I'd personally rather die than sign up for it. Seems like most of us would die anyway, so why pay for something you cannot afford if you're treatment will be delayed and one would likely die anyway. I think I would prefer to live as healthy a lifestyle as I can and forget getting involved with ObamaCare. I've looked into what we would have to pay, and it is unaffordable for us.
We don't have an extra $2000 a month to throw away. I would vote to repeal ObamaCare in it's present form and just make it available for those who need it rather than harming the rest of us.
