Paul Wright on Foreign Policy

Our government action broke post-Cold War peace with Russia

America had good relations with Russia in 1991 [after] the Cold War. But recently we have returned to bad relations with Russia. Why?
  1. By refusal to allow Russia to join the other European nations in NATO--Did not our government break Reagan's Peace?
  2. By expanding of NATO into the Baltics and the nations of Eastern Europe--Did not our government break Reagan's Peace?
  3. By our withdrawal of the US from the Anti-ballistic missile treaty--
  4. By changing of America's defensive (peaceful) war policy to one allowing offensive preemptive (aggressive, "shoot first") nuclear attacks by the US on other countries, including Russia--
  5. By establishing military missile bases in countries on the borders of Russia--
  6. By the support of the leaders of the coup that replaced the duly elected government of Ukraine--
  7. By the current, ongoing military buildup in the Ukraine and the nations bordering Russia--Did not our government break Reagan's Peace?
