Allow negotiating lower prescription drug prices

We do need to solve the problem of health insurance costs. I don't like the idea of the federal government growing any larger, but the fact is we need to rearrange the way we pay for medical services. Mr. Gregg voted to prevent the government from negotiating lower prescription drug prices from the pharmaceutical companies who finance his campaign. Instead, he has filed a sham Bill that purports to allow us to go to Canada to buy them-but in fact, will make this more difficult, if not impossible. Since medical care, like roads and freeways, police stations and fire stations, is something we all need and millions of Americans cannot afford, we shouldn't be afraid to look at the problem squarely and put together something that works. As I take no money from the medical establishment, I will be able to speak out for good solutions, wherever we can find them.
