Green energy is ok, as long as it's not subsidized

A: I have mixed feelings about this. I like the concept but the way our country is going about it is wrong. We are subsidizing companies who are wasting taxpayer money that should never have been given to them by our government. If green energy is to be successful, it has to be successful all on its own. It should not be subsidized by taxpayers. That gives no incentive to the company that is providing the green energy to be practical. They will waste tax payer money and when it's gone so is the company until it's able to reinvent itself and rip off the taxpayers over and over again. These things need to be proven by funds from investors. The investors will determine if it's a waste of money or not. The government won't bother because it's not their personal funds they are using.
