Do away with federal welfare, and rely on charities instead

Q: Should we allow churches to provide welfare services?

A: If churches want to provide welfare services then I'm all for it. I truly think the federal welfare program needs to be done away with and just have private charities handle any programs such as this. With unemployment as low as it is, and if all the illegal immigrants were deported, there are and would be plenty of jobs for people. At the very least, there needs to be stricter regulations on welfare.
