Change through action against statewide property tax

Nearly 100 NH citizens gathered to incorporate TRASH (Taxpayers Revolt Against State Hi-jinks), a nonprofit organization committed to overthrowing the statewide property tax. "If you look at Article 10 of the NH constitution, you can't help but think of this situation," said Sen. Burt Cohen. "We have to stand united and express our anger. Sitting back and doing nothing is just not an option." ÿCohen was one of several state legislators who attended the TRASH meeting.
