Kelda Helen Roys on Energy & Oil

We need to develop climate resilience

Wisconsin is already suffering from the effects of climate change. Increased flooding, more violent storms, invasive species, algae blooms, and less predictable weather patterns are already wreaking havoc on our communities, our businesses, our budgets, and our farmers. We need to develop climate resilience to ensure that we can withstand these changes. Wisconsin also has no fossil fuels, so cultivating energy independence is increasingly important in a time of rising utility costs.
