Tony Sanchez on War & Peace

Former Democratic Challenger TX Governor

Five-point plan to leave no threat unaddressed

Tony Sanchez will work across all borders to ensure that every city, county, and the state as a whole are prepared to protect our citizens and the place we all call home. His five-point plan:
  1. Detection?of the risks, vulnerabilities and presence of any kind of terrorist threat. Includes statewide epidemiology and surveillance activities.
  2. Reporting?instant notification of appropriate authorities to initiate response.
  3. Response?appropriate medical and emergency response to treat victims and contain the source of attack.
  4. Alert?effective public information and risk communication. Includes the Safe Schools Effort of the Texas Education Agency.
  5. Compact with our Borders?protocols with Mexico and our neighboring states for intelligence sharing and mutual assistance in the event of a threat on either side of the border.
With a state as big, diverse and proud as Texas, no risk will be taken lightly, and no threat will be left unaddressed.
