Affordable Care Act is neither "affordable" nor "care"

Time and time again, the federal government continues to offer top-down, one-size-fits-all solutions. From "care" offered to our Veterans through the VA, to Medicaid, Medicare, and now ObamaCare, every program offered by the federal government has become wrought with corruption and has failed to meet the needs of the individuals it was intended to serve.

I understand that the solutions that will overcome these challenges will not be provided by government, but rather by the free market. A system where patients can purchase insurance across state lines and companies compete to provide packages that meet the needs of consumers, not the other way around.

As your Senator, I would vote to defund and repeal the President's Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. ObamaCare) which is neither "affordable" nor "care." I will work to ensure that real, free market solutions are applied to the problems facing health care, so that American health care will again be the best in the world.
