Frank McEnulty on War & Peace

New American Independent Party nominee for President

Let the Marines and Army to do their job in Iraq

Q: Should the United States maintain its troop levels in Iraq?

A: Yes.

Q: Should the United States withdraw its troops from Iraq?

A: No.

Q: Discuss your proposals for Iraq.

A: We have to listen to our generals and allow the Marines and Army to do their job without a lot of political interference, even if that means the draconian step of house-to-house searches of every house and building in this zone. We have to greatly reduce the restrictions on our personnel that they are operating under because of the "rules of engagement". We have to stop worrying about what the rest of the world, the politicians and the general public thinks and do what it takes to get the job done to get Iraq towards some sort of normalcy.
